![]() My research is conducted in collaboration with clinicians and scientists and utilises clinical, laboratory and data-driven approaches to: Patients with PAD are also at significantly increased risk of suffering major cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke. PAD causes blockage, or weakening of the arteries outside the heart and can only be treated through surgery which is expensive and has limited durability.
